Fairy-Type Buizel and Floatzel (Red Velvet)

His name is Red Velvet but he tends to go by Vel. They are Rash Natured and Highly Curious. He is bisexual and his ability is Fur Coat. They know the moves: Sonic Boom, Growl, Baby-Doll Eyes, and Aqua Ring.

Red Velvet was originally bred to be part of the starter program in the Alcora region. However, due to his unique parentage (a Floatzel and Cursola), Vel was born with a rare coat pattern. This resulted in the researchers that bred Vel to be reluctant to release him, as they wanted to study both the cause of the mutation as well as how it might impact the Buizel’s evolution in the future. Vel wasn’t a huge fan of this though. He found the lab boring and confining. They wanted to see the world beyond the white walls they had grown up in. Eventually, they got their wish.

Red Velvet tends to act first and think later. Being cooped up in a lab for almost two decades has left them extremely curious about everything around them. They want to explore anything and everything, regardless how dangerous, dubious, or delightful it may be. He’s also a ball of energy that doesn’t tire out easily, which can be a bit troublesome when paired with his innate rashness and inquisitiveness. Vel is also a bit impatient and will get annoyed if anyone tries to slow him down from exploring.
