ABILITY: Tale of Genji && Beast Beneath the Moonlight

ABILITY DETAILS: Beast Beneath the Moonlight’s effects are already known, and thanks to her friend Junichi Fukuzawa, she is able to fully control it. Her other ability, Tale of Genji, manifests as a physical book, on which, when activated, the pages are written on with what will happen in the immediate future if the current course of action is continued on by either Murasaki, or the person she is asking the book about. That said, this future can be changed so long as Murasaki or the person targeted takes direct action to change it. The pages and the subject’s future written on them will then update accordingly.

BRIEF OVERVIEW: Murasaki is, in contrast to her brother, a very stark and serious girl, who prefers to get right down to business and the heart of the matter rather than mess around or dance around the subject, and is quick to become angry if she feels she is being lied to or played with. Generally, Murasaki is a nice girl, if a bit aloof and strange due to not understanding others often times, but she does her best to get along in a world very much not built to accomodate her. She is strong and sure-footed in her morals and worldview, and it can be incredibly difficult to get her to see the other side at times. She is extremely intelligent, though sometimes this intelligence is not enough to get her through, and she is learning to rely on her friends. She enjoys the company of her friends and family (usually, when they aren’t busy annoying her) as well, and she has an incredibly strong sense of justice and what is right and wrong. That said, she is willing to bend a little on her “rules” when it comes to friends and family, as she sees her connections with them as being of utmost importance.

• has autism! she’s i guess more of the “stereotypical” autism type? she doesn’t understand sarcasm/sarcastic humor very well at all, but she absolutely gets innuendo and hidden messages. very good at reading faces, not good with body language unless it’s aggressive. also has adhd, was extremely hyperactive as a “kitten” (all the nakajima-akutagawa kids are lovingly/jokingly referred to as kittens)
• extremely intelligent. that said she often downplays her intelligence or doesn’t show it as much because she wants to fit in with her peers
• on GOD she loves women. has the biggest most obvious crush on yoshiko but because they’re both fools they’re the only ones who don’t notice
• you would think she’d be closer to ryuunosuke right? haha wrong atsushi is the favorite dad
• she could not fucking stand dazai when she was like. from the ages of about two to seven. as a child she once called him a bitch because ryuunosuke did it out of frustration when he came from from work:tm: so she was just like “oh this is clearly meant to be derogatory! time to use it on uncle dazai”. at her current age she does not hate him but they both look back on this phase and laugh
• murasaki is desperate to prove herself as being more than just the offspring of her very accomplished parents. she wants to make her own legacy.
