A 20 year old Ishgardian Hyur Warrior born in The Brume, Edilia never had much going for her in life, and, like so many others in the Brume, was often seen as nothing better than a gutter rat. However, when she was 10, Edilia was shown a kindness she never thought nobility possessed after an 18 year old Vetelle saved the girl from trouble with the Knights. Some six years later, Edilia would find herself under the employ of Vetelle, having been chosen specifically by Vetelle to be her personal guard after seeing the girl come to the defense of a friend by offering herself as a champion for trial by combat, saving an innocent life just as Vetelle had done with her all those years before.
Edilia is a ravenous fighter and possibly a bit psychotic, but her devotion to Vetelle is unwavering, and her skills with an axe are close to unmatched. She sometimes struggles holding her tongue, however, as she has a strong distaste for the nobility of Ishgard. She has come to be less than affectionately known as "the Berserker. ." People generally say that she smells strongly of apple cider

When Edilia first met the Scions, they figured her a rogue warrior, or perhaps part of a leftover Garlean unit, i.e., a dangerous person to be around, and were eventually forced to initiate combat with her. they were later shocked to discover she was not only on their side during their time in Ishgard, but also a close personal friend of Vetelle. She offered what help she could, especially navigating lower parts of the city, in apology for their earlier misunderstanding.
