Noël Chatelain

After WWI, Noël and his wife, Teddy, moved from Louisville, KY, to New Orleans, LA. They had married young at the behest of their parents, but opon coming out to each other, decided that moving away was the best way forward. Teddy and Noël remained best friends, but sought other romantic partneres. For Noël this was several partners. The most memorable of those may have been a young vaquero who passed through New Orleans for a couple years. Noël was never really able to settle down, probably because of his mental heatlh issues which , in the 1920s, were not meaningfully treated or addressed. In the 1940s, though, Noël is doing much better, and agrees to meet with his old fling for a very important question.
