Kalvar's mother died giving birth. Being a Demon of Calamity, he feeds off death and destruction. He lives off the wishes of others hatred filled greed desires. He kills anything, and everything in his path, with or without reason. However there is an exception to this. Kalvar is in constant battle with himself. As there are two sides to him. Kinkotsu the side that feeds of destruction, death, and hatred. Then Kalvar, the sweet, kind, and gentle side that doesn't have a care in the world. He has one green eye, and one blue eye. When Kinkotsu takes over, his eyes change to a deep red, his teeth grow and his hair stands up on the side. Kalvar most of the time has no control on which side will take over. In less he's asked to do a dirty deed. When Kalvar isn't acting out in violence, he has no recollection on the things he did as Kinkotsu. Being who he was, he grew up with no family. Killing his only other 'known' family member which was his father who he has no memory of if living as Kalvar. As Kalvar he resided in a small village in Edo Japan. Till, the time of when Kinkotsu overtook him, and murdered everyone in his village he grew close to and loved. Kalvar can't remember what happened as Kinkostu, yet the voices of his friends echo inside his head, causing him great heartache. Kalvar stands alone, traveling by himself in fear to hurt anyone else that approaches him. In less a wish of death is placed on someone from a human. Being what Kalvar is, there are humans who know him as Kalvar and the ones who seen him transform into Kinkotsu have lost trust in his ability to keep them safe. The once trusted humans of Kalvar shunned him to a life of solitude, calling him a monster and throwing sticks on fire at him to keep him away from their village.
