Ruben was an only child, growing up in a small and quiet family. Both of his parents were often away for work or distant at home, leaving him to yearn for a loving environment. He began feeling Dysphoria very early on in life and with nobody to turn to for comfort he kept to himself once he understood he was Transgender. The only way of coping he could manage was layering Sports bras and keeping his hair as short as his mother would allow. He took up gardening in his late childhood as a way to find something he could control and neglected his studies, obsessing over his new hobby until it consumed his young life. The flowers couldn't leave him and they relied upon him fully. He soon began to keep his favorite flowers preserved in a book and became violent towards his parents when they attempted to come between him and his new-found hobby.

At the age of 17 he was out on his own, having been quarreling with his parents for years over just about everything. Before leaving he made sure to snag a large amount of funds from under their noses. Carefully sneaking bills from their wallets and nightstands without detection. He moved in with a few girls around the same age, splitting rent for a two bedroom apartment.The first day in his new life he took the time to shave his head, getting rid of the shoulder-length hair his mother forced upon him and keeping it shortened down to his fur. Through the time in the new apartment he continued to grow his flowers, using the small space of the apartment patio for space and sunlight. Once he entered into a stable job as assistant manager in the local grocery he began transitioning from Female to Male with the money he had saved from his parents. At the age of 20 he finished his transition and was able to aquire a job at a local Florists, allowing him to do something he enjoyed for a profit. He soon moved out onto his own, though into a much smaller little apartment nearby.

Summary

Rubin lived a very neglected childhood and grew up with violent tendencies and an obsessive personality. He was soon kicked out at 17 and transitioned to Male the moment he got a stable job to do so. His transition finished at age 20.

He now lives on his own on the top floor in a small, run down apartment.

Present Day

Rubin is employed at the same Flower shop to this day. He's earned the trust of the Owner, at least when it comes to flowers, and has been promoted to Manager. He often works afternoons at "Rose Gold" and spends his mornings and nights either obsessing over Salem or keeping him in his sights. A few new pictures for his wall never hurt anyone after all.

His current living space is a small one bedroom apartment on the 5th floor of a small, run-down apartment building. Although it's not the nicest place he enjoys the time he spends at his apartment. It's a simple space with one big room for the livingroom, dining room and kitchen, one bathroom and one bedroom. Although not the tidiest kept home, it's usually clean. A glass display case with various pocket knives sits in the bedroom on the dresser. The closet on the other hand is kept under a heavy lock and key, quite literally. Adorned with three locks with seperate keys it houses walls and albums full of pictures of his darling, Salem. With little space to display, his favorite pictures are hung neatly above harms reach and his albums sit in large plastic tubs along the back wall.
