Emera

About

Independent, Stubborn, Rational, A thinker, stern, easily flustered, witty, morally grounded, collected, and socially awkward, all of these things describe Emera. She keeps to herself and is usually does not put much trust into strangers. Though she keeps an open mind. Pretty “adventurous”; doesn't mind going out and exploring to find new ingredients for her potions, or scratch an ich for learning. She has no problem getting her hands dirty. She also LOVES learning new things and is drawn to things that fascinate her. She is usually very well-spoken when very comfortable. Usually is not fond of conflict, before fighting she would most likely walk away and be done with the interaction. There are exceptions though when it has to do with things she may deem something worth getting involved in the conflict for. She is very morally grounded, and will not budge on what she believes in. She also doesn't tolerate rude behavior and is not afraid to speak up for herself or others. Emera also is (usually) calm and collected. Do not think that Emera is ALL business though. Once you are close to her she can be a goofball and does enjoy harmless banter and being around those she cares about.

Backstory

Due to tragedy, Emera as an egg was left parentless. She was soon adopted by a pair of dragons who decided to raise her as their own, unknown to the fact she had no wings. Her new parents chose to leave the dragon lands and raise her in the floating city Cirrostratus. Hatching without wings made travel difficult in the floating city and for a long while had to be carried by her parents everywhere. Despite this Emera never minded to much about her flightless-ness and has always been very magically inclined and seemed to be drawn to it. Which was difficult for her parents who weren't magical like her. Due to the society in Cirrostratus and their nature to dislike outsiders, Emera was a bit of a hermit without any friends. This did not bother her though as she preferred to stay in and study magic to her hearts content. When she was old enough she started to venture out more, but grew tired of Cirrostratus, so to pursue her growing magical passion she left her home in search for a new place to live to help satiate her hunger for knowledge and magical growth. Using her magic to float down from the floating city, she found herself alone in a new world that excited her. She would pass through many towns and places before finding Lilypad. The town radiated a sort of energy, the seemed to come from the nearby forest. She was drawn to the magic, and decided to make this her home, setting up her house right on the forests edge. Where she know runs a magic and potion shop. Living next door to her two best friends.
