Naoko was the first female head of her cland and from her the Hinode cla would always be led by womens. She helped Hashirama and madara to foundind Konoha because like they, she wanted peace over everything and they had known each other since childhood.

She also showed from her childhood to have a strong temp'erament for a young lade, as well as great talent for martial arts and ninjutsus techniques despite the fact that she wasn't allowed to train for being a girl and especially the daughter of the leader of the Hinode clan, but she decided to break the rules and train in secrete so she could assume her role as heir, wich made her the first person to perfect the clan's kekkei genkkai, earning everyone's respect and admiration. Thats why she was known throughout Konoha as "Golden Fire" although her temperament made some people fear her, on the other hand, with her two friends she proved to be rather a bromist and fonny kind girl.

When Hashirama assumed the position of hokage, Naoko served as a second in command, helping him with decisions and tactis. She repeatedly tried to get Madara to give up his rivalry with Hashirama and tried to convince him not leave the village later, without success.

Abilities

Her greatest virtue is her high IQ, making her capable of creating excellent tactics and reacting quickly to any obstacle even without using the kekkei genkai of her clan. That's why when Konoha was founded and Madara leaves the village, Hanako became a great help to Hashirama. She also was a great user of ninjutsu tecniques but always preferred to fight in close combat and with weapons, so she practiced her taijutsu to perfection, but when things got tough, she used to use storm release jutsus, being popularly known for her secret technique: Demon Dragon Storm.

Trivia

Naoko was the first to perfect the use of the Naganyoakegan (Hinode's kekkei genkkai) being to date the only one who can use it several times and for long periods.

She developed secret techniques as well as a sage technique when she was 18 years old.

She uses her mask to cover her burns although she isn't ashamed of them.

Naoko created her armor and weapons, being the sharpest and strongest of the entired village.

The burn of her face reaces her shoulder.

The one who burned her face was Madara when he tried the fireball jutsu when they were kids and he couldn't control it.

Her favorite food was octopus.

When she died she was pregnant.

She always knew that Madara hadn't died in his battle against Hashirama but she kept that in secret.
