Despite being a demon and having duties to fulfill, Thomas decided to leave that behind and just enjoy his time on earth being a pirate.
Nothing gives him greater joy, than going on adventures with his comerades and telling them to the next locals they meet.
He didn't tell anyone on the crew he's not a normal person but this doesn't exclude anypne from knowing or suspecting anything.
To keep his life normal and the fun up, he doesn't use his 2'nd pair of arms and general demon powers outside of emergency situations.
Man really just want's to live a normal life.
