Ronan was Rome's bodyguard for a short period of time. Rome had told him a sob story about being hunted down by others and how he needed protection, and Ronan offered to protect him for free. It took several weeks of doing almost everything for Rome for him to find out that he had been lying the whole time. He nearly fought the cat, but decided instead on chewing him out and leaving.
