Vebel Arik Feonhid is a delivery owl that travels around the lands of Hymnari, sparing little time outside of delivering parcels.
"I don't know much about the main delivery service here. Skiesunder has been rather frivolous in keeping their business tactics secret, mostly showing as a postal service that can't be beaten by others.
And they've proven that often; their workers are always friendly, and though secretive, are extremely consistent. It's a little bit mind-blowing how they haven't been observed to make a mistake from every person I've asked about them.
Vebel is an example of one of their workers; a rather small, lithe but very nimble owl who has become somewhat of a regular for our deliveries.
Normally they work through teleportation, but with the work we do here we can't afford to have any loose tracks left from the magic residue that leaves behind - too risky - so we've made it clear that we'd rather a flier. Surprisingly, they are readily capable and willing to handle alternative methods.
And I'm impressed, this owl has shown to be unbothered at all by the cold conditions, and still shown a friendly face to it all. He hasn't even slipped up from any of the creatures that sometimes flies through these mountains.
I'm both disappointed but glad that Skiesunder is a neutral party to practically all happenings outside of their company - the amount of magical artefacts that they have access to is by no means small, their self-defense in particular is scary - but all of it is justified, they simply wish to make delivery easy and accessible for everybody.
Even the king strays away from trying to work with them.
And honestly, I would, too.
I just hope they understand that what is coming up is going to have to involve them in some way or another."
