superhero oc(s)!! guy who is sometimes two guys who are sometimes one guy

• thinking of them as one person and two people are equally valid and really just depends on what form he's in. while fused he considers himself one complete person, and when split they consider themselves two distinct people
• can fuse and unfuse at will
• he has electrical powers; when combined, he controls both positive and negative charges, giving him full control over powerful electrical techniques, but when split, each twotone can only manipulate one charge unless they're close together, meaning they're much weaker when separated and essentially can only use electrical techniques on contact or at very close range
• he's kind of dumb and when split they're twice as dumb
• he tried getting his ears pierced once but the next time he defused the earrings didnt duplicate with him so they just fell out and now they've resigned themselves to never getting earrings
