Mary-Jack Trade

Mary “Jack of All Trades” Jack is the Experimental Civil Defense’s resident handyman (err...woman). Like her name suggests, she’s a ‘jack of all trades’ and actually a master of most of them. Except cooking. Weirdly enough Dan is pretty good at that.

She’s a little skittish (when you’re around constant explosions, who wouldn’t be!) but incredibly friendly. Jack was the first to be recruited to the ECD by Dan and becomes close friends with Lady Godiva after they rescue him. She grew up in a household with like 5 other siblings (all boys) and knows how to handle difficult situations. Dan considers her the glue that keeps everyone together. <3

Mary Jack enrolled in college to find a girlfriend, thinking she would have better odds than working at her family's auto shop. One girl she liked was signed up for a nuclear physics course, and so she signed up as well. Mary Jack took four years of intensely difficult nuclear science classes to follow a girl (who ended up dropping out) but ended up really enjoying the subject. Somehow, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with the most difficult science degree at the school. Still single, she applied to work for the ECD once hearing rumors that it was woman-led. A girl from her school had formed a nuclear clean up agency funded by the government! How exciting! And the woman in charge is apparently exactly her type... butch, strong, and a little rough around the edges. She shows up to work the first day and it's...Dan. Who transitioned/changed his name back when they were in college. Mary Jack ends up staying with the organization but she is still on the search for love.... 

Physical characteristics: Jack usually wears a button up, heels, thick lead lined gloves (handling nuclear materials), and yellow skirt (which is stained with oil and dirt). She has a tooth gap and her hair is messy (often tied back) and wears chunky glasses. 

Also incredibly important: she LOVES WOMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *firework noises
