Personality:

Pius is a very calm and polite guy for the most part. He’s a bit of a loner in the fact that he doesn’t normally hang around other SushiDogs, but he’s always with Ari, his mouse companion. They are inseparable and anywhere Pius goes Ari is always close behind. Pius and Ari help each other with things the other can’t do on their own. For example, Pius acts as Ari’s protector from animals much larger than him while Ari can fit into places and retrieve things that Pius can’t. Yes, it’s no doubt that they are the best of friends. Pius even lets Ari eat his figs, which are very dear to him.

Pius doesn’t really say much. He’d rather let someone else do all the talking, because he believes actions speak louder than words. If he were to attend a gathering of some sort, he would most likely sit and watch the action but not partake in it. He likes to observe how others act and react, because it’s entertaining for him. Sometimes Pius does wish to be in the middle of the action but not very often. He’s mainly content with being a bystander.            

Being a hard worker is one of the things Pius likes about himself. He’s always looking for something to do and can’t stand to feel unproductive in any way. He’s certainly not opposed to a nice afternoon nap, though. Pius enjoys having a little bit of routine in his life and isn’t too fond of that routine being broken. The routine helps him focus on things he needs to do and when he has to do it. He needs this because he has a terrible memory, but he would never admit that. He unconsciously relies on Ari to remember things for him.

Pius is also one hard-headed SushiDog. It’s typically either his way or the highway, and if someone did disagree with him in any way there would be no point in arguing with him. Once he’s set on something there’s no changing his mind. He would never be rude about his disagreement though and wouldn’t get into a heated argument over something, because he’s not one to lose his temper. He would be well-mannered but stern about it.
