SONIC OC TIME. Roof uses he/him pronouns but doesn't really care.
Roof is a result of Eggman following in his grandpa's footsteps and trying to create a whole creature, this time he was like "what if I just made a fucked up Xenomorph to kill Sonic for me?" but something went wrong in the Murder Instinct Installation and he ended up with a strange dogboy. Eggman just kinda let Roof loose and Shadow found him and extrapolated "oh shit. I'm a fucking great-uncle now". Roof just kinda follows Shadow around.
Tassle is Roof's little Chao friend! Nobody's sure where exactly it came from but Cream said it was scaring the other Chao, so Shadow came to take it, and Roof and Tassle hit it off immediately. Tassle is pretty much Roof's emotional support animal. Roof gets nervous
Fun fact: Roof got his name because Shadow asked if he had one and Roof tried to reply and just ended up making some different noises. The most prominent one was a bark so Shadow was like "Okay. Well. I guess you're Roof now"
