Scarlet is a rather tough Mantoo. She’s silent most of the time, whether it be with someone new or those she’s known for a while – which includes the Lythani siblings Omen, Salvador and Yoongi. She’s particularly close to the introverted Omen. The two have the ability to spend time together in complete silence which never seems to turn awkward. Though far from being considered a bookworm, another interest Scarlet shares with Omen is her love for the paranormal. Omen’s opinion of the Mantoo is fairly ok at large. He doesn’t much enjoy her sarcastic nature, though, as there is nothing otherwise “wrong” with her he puts up with it. Whenever Omen panics over his brothers getting into trouble, Scarlet will be the one to calm him down and bring him to his senses.
Scarlet isn’t as close to Yoongi or Salvador as Omen. The younger Lythani are far too extroverted for the Mantoo, which can often lead to her feeling uncomfortable around them, and upset when it comes to Salvatore's snarky, stubborn nature. She definitely cares about them – almost as much as Omen, even – but being around the twp often makes her feel as though she is watching over young childer. She does have at least one thing in common with Yoongi, however – which is her deep-seated curiosity about the world, something both the Lyth and the Mantoo possess.
Despite their differences, Scarlet cares more than she would admit about the three siblings. Being considerably larger and stronger than them, she would never hesitate to protect them, no matter the cost. She has often had to step in between Omen and danger, as he seems to have a knack for getting into trouble. Aside from her size and strength, Scarlet also possesses dark magic – a trait common amongst her species – that, although she prefers not to use, she can exploit to save either herself or those she deeply cares about from danger.
