Yakubu designed the Omega Cafe as their thesis project many years ago, and has been visiting it ever since. They are good friends with the staff and the regulars. When work is a bit slow, Iv gives them work as a waiter part time so they can have some money to their name. Yakubu is an outgoing person by nature and simply likes being able to talk to others about their passions.
They are a immigrant from another walled city and it shows by the way they carry themselves around, after some decades, they got used to the life around these parts. They have bonded with Lu and Iv over that, strangers in a strange place. Iv suspects them and Rono have a thing going on, but they try to not pry into it too much.
