Mel [Melanite Garnet]

Silent  and refined, Melanite is one of the few fusions that Sky allows  (probably because she’s small and not destructive). Melanite is very  much a high class lady, with future vision and a love of card games. Sky  puts her to work helping kindergartners pick the right spots. She does  not like the dirt but is willing as her diamond demands. Often, Mel will  take long, relaxing baths and is one of the few gems to do so. Unlike  Black Sapphire, Mel isn’t mute but prefers to say very little, instead  expressing herself with her body and also occasionally writing down  things. Mel can seem aloof and disinterested in other gems with a  “holier than thou” attitude, but she doesn’t connect with gems all that  well and honestly isn’t sure how to seem friendly - not that she cares.  She is all she needs.
