Dakota is a very quiet and reclusive man, often preferring to keep to himself rather than socialize. The only person he is really comfortable speaking with is his sister, Pennyslvania. He cares about her more than anything, and does everything within his power to keep her safe and happy. However most of the things he tends to do is from the sidelines, as Dakota hates being placed in any sort of limelight. He can get quite anxious at times, especially around strangers and in crowds, and often lets his sister do the talking. That is, until he has to reign her in. Once he gets to know you, though, he shows that he can care for others an awful lot as well.

Dakota is of rather large build, being tall and bulky, with pale skin that darkens around his eyes. He has somewhat dull purple eyes that are often bloodshot from stress and lack of sleep and scruffy, dark 5-o'clock shadow. He has shaggy blue hair that tends to be somewhat unkempt and thick eyebrows of the same color, although his right eyebrow is split. He has a nasty scar splitting his face from the left side of his mouth to his left eye, but also has a few other smaller scars here and there across his body. Dakota tends to wear rather simple clothing. A black t-shirt, cargo shorts that are cropped just above the knees, tennis shoes, a brown belt, and a semi-transparent blue raincoat with a hood. Around his neck he wears a golden pendant in the shape of an anchor.
