Patient no. 22-12609 is a beast brought into Rudy's clinic after being hit by a passing cart. A twisted sort of fortune that his mobility was limited by his wounds; neither the clinic itself nor their wildlife rehab facility was prepared to provide a large enough space for him. In record time, they managed to transform part of their turnout space into an adequate enclosure. Such a large creature, particularly one capable of climbing, could hardly be kept in a regular paddock.

Patient no. 22-12609 is not of a species the clinic has seen before, which has been both exciting and nerve-wracking. Treating him must be careful and calculated, as there exists no record of this animal's biology.

Rubeus is part of his care team. Rubeus is immensely curious, but also wary, as the beast has been highly defensive since arriving.
