Formerly a limelight-obsessed circus clown looking for some more excitement, Candy-Ann volunteered to be a test subject in a mad scientist's experiments that left it with the ability to shapeshift into gummy animals. Candy-Ann thought its new powers would add some flavor to its performances. Instead, People were horrified. The poor reception was the beginning of a downward spiral for Candy-Ann, until it finally sank into supervillainy and began using its powers to cause trouble for the sake of causing trouble.
