Open Species: Cindreds

CINDREDS

Cindreds are an insect-based anthro species.

They are an open species, which means that you can make your own Cindred as long as you follow the guidelines

Please let me know if you make one so I can add it to the list!

The initial idea for such a creature was by d_r_i_m_k , which were solidified by my drawings. I then took over the species from him, and improved upon it further. The initial concept drawings are archived in the tabs if you want to check them out, however they aren't lore-accurate anymore.

GENERAL INFO

• Cindreds are powered by internal fires inside their chests. It can glow in the dark and can be any bright color.
• Cindreds are soul-eaters, they use souls to feed their internal fire.
• The eye on their forehead (aka "Seer Eye") helps them find creatures with souls that they can hunt. They must close all their other eyes to use it. The eye cannot be used to find their own kind as they don't have souls.
• When cut, Cindreds will bleed ash and the area of bleeding will shrivel up if left untreated.
• The body plating is natural and unique to every Cindred.
• They breathe through their tails, just like most insects.
• They can't have wings.
