Nanona grew up as an only child in a middle class family named Palah, on Escarion. Her father Naton was a doctor in the biggest hospital of Escarion, her mother Roja worked as a detective at the police department. Both, her mother and father were of a differently colored Escarian race, like she is. Nanona had to deal with bullying in school, because her colors were different, but she mostly ignored those bullies and helped other differently colored students in her school. 

Nanona started a job as a nurse after she finished school to help out her father. Years later, she met a young man in the hospital with a young girl next to him, both were usually colored Escarians. Nanona befriended this young man, his name was Arun Thradvir and he was the first son of the CEO of the Escarian Cargo Corporation. The tiny girl was his youngest sibling, Vijaya. Arun told Nanona that he has younger twin brothers as well. 

After a long time, Nanona's and Arun's friendship turned into a romantic relationship. Arun's family accepted her as she is, even if Arun's younger twin brothers, Firin and Rhirin, tend to prank her. Arun's parents, Arun senior and Eloya, liked Nanona and appreciated her. After one year, Arun and Nanona decided to marry. The marriage of them was big and the parents the two were getting along very well. 

Nanona got pregnant with her first child a few years later. Both, Arun and Nanona were in bliss for soon to be parents. Even their parents were happy about those news. But one day during Nanona's pregnancy, a catastrophic event happened on Escarion. Nanona couldn't barely describe, what exactly happened, only that she came back to consciousness in a spaceship's infirmary. It looked foreign to her. A fellow Escarian, was the first she saw, but that poor guy was in bandages. Nanona had complications to get up, her body was feeling strange. She noticed, that her belly was normal and this caused her to freak out. A doctor said, that she has lost her child and had 2nd to 3rd degree burn scars along both arms. She was also in turmoil, because her husband, Arun junior, was gone. The fellow Escarian said that Escarian has fallen into chaos and those space travelers picked up a few refugees. Nanona fell into a depressive phase. Her husband, her child and her family - all gone.

Years later, Nanona met new friends on a trip to a planet. They were a group of bounty hunters. She learned how to use a laser gun and mastered it. One day, she heard about the Intergalactic Freedom Fighters, whose leader, Professor Awrag, got killed in an incident with space pirates. But she never got to know, who got their new leader. Her bounty hunter group leader decided to look out for them, because he wanted to be allies. From that time on, Nanona travels through space with her friends to search for the IFF and the answer what exatly happened to Escarion.
