Born of a cloud of stardust and the wish of a dream too many years ago to count, Metztli is a being who brings dreams to children and adults receptive to him. His eyes glow like warm suns, presenting a similar heat, enough to loosen muscles and gently drift people off into a peaceful, restful sleep.

He can create a small dark cloud made of dust that allows him to travel efficiently from child to child.

The tug of distressed children pulls at his chest as he travels through windows like the trickle of a galaxy through the smallest crack. He sits with them and strokes their hair (with the younger ones returning the favor and petting his long ears) until they fall asleep and he moves forward. He's encountered a few who are more resistant to his influence, but he finds that with enough concentration he can at least bring them into a trance or lull.

Can make himself seem relatively normal to adults, though children can be quick to point out the ears on his head and the stars in his hair, floating around him like a gentle halo.

He can't stay under the song for too long, for it weakens him, and can thus be hiding between dimensions and in shaded areas during the day. His long scarf is one of his most prized possessions, covering his exposed shoulders whenever he does stand in the sun, and keeping him warm during harsh winter days.
