Litora

Litora is an intuitive fel of mixed kaush and tlin-faunijan descent with a built body, warm demeanor, above-average height, and relaxing drawl. She is is a gifted mage who trained under the Faunijauvi for years. She is skilled in the manipulation of water and can use it catch herself from a great height (e.g. use a lake at the foot of a cliff to 'carry' herself safely down), summon waves, and also flood the home of a certain military officer. Her tactics are primarily defensive,using water to shield her friends and divide them from adverseries but she knows her way around a cutlass as well.

Nowadays, however, she's rather tired of fighting. She's more of a gentle giant. And, after deserting the Faunijauvi, she has lived in hiding in a (previously) abandoned 3-room house by the beach in the middle of nowhere outside of Jurstati. She has grown quite paranoid about being found and captured by the Faunijauvi which has led to her having agoraphobia; she is afraid to leave her house and its immediate vacinity. She is particularly scared of open spaces with no place to hide as well as crowded cities like Jurstati.

Due to her isolation, Litora has few friends. But she does have Anethra and Anethra sees her as her best friend. The two met in the Faunijauvi as both were assigned to elite placements in their age group (15-17 at the time). Initially, they were not friends. Indeed, Litora for a time belonged to a posse that didn't think too fondly of Anethra (who was a social pariah at this time for a variety of reasons). One day, Litora's friend went too far and insulted Anethra by calling her a "half-breed" due to her mixed heritage while shoving her as she walked by. This went too far and at that moment Litora said sharply but quietly "don't say that". This was washed out by Anethra retaliating in a flash, slamming Litora's friend to the ground and punching her several times in the face before blinking and realizing what she did (and backing off without another word). As soon as her friend had healed, she confronted her about what she had said about a fel of mixed descent and this was not taken well. When no apologies nor change happened, Litora ditched that friend group and began reaching out to Anethra. It took awhile but the two eventually became quite close.

It is important to note that Litora was not always known as Litora, she came up with that name after deserting the Faunijauvi. It is a reference to her patron god, Lito (god of water and reflection). Before this and before the Faunijauvi, Litora was a very different fel, a child born to a farming family in a small town in the Midlands of all places. She ran away to the Faunijauvi due to the feeling that she was bigger than this small town and that there were less opportunities there.  Or so she told herself.  Really the main reason she left was because she was afraid, afraid of her family finding out she is gay and afraid of never knowing anyone like herself. (These fears would later prove to be mostly misplaced.)

About Ref

Colors can be adjusted, they are just there to make it easier for people who like to be "exact"/like to have something to follow. The 'Accent/Shadow' part of the skintone does not refer to shading but rather, is there as a reminder that shadows for dark skins tend to be rich colors and that is added in case she seems a bit "washed-out". Fel skin isn't exactly like human skin tones but it still can look too washed out/similar principles apply.

Outfits are mostly a suggestion but she canonically owns few clothes (like most of my characters). In addition to what is pictured she owns: a white/light grey bath robe that has some tea stains,  plain boxer-brief style white underwear, and a white button-up that is shorter than the long blue one she is drawn with (that is supposed to be blue flannel lmao), and maybeee grayish overalls but those might be left behind at her former home.
