- Ayakashi left his lemonade out while he was hyperfocusing on his work and then promptly forgot it existed. The next time he looked at it, it rose out of the cup and looked right back at him.
- He left it on the counter and has pretended it isn't there ever since.
- Lemonster named itself with a felt tipped pen it found lying around in a bid to seem more friendly. Ayakashi was inwardly horrified to learn that it knew how to write.
- The chimereon treats it as he would any of the other spirits that tend to drift through his grove; by ignoring it in hopes that it would lose interest and go away. Lemonster likes to watch him work though, so he can often feel the food's eye on him while he's trimming and sealing the bamboo.
- Lemonster knows how to top up the liquid in its cup using the tap in the sink, which has dashed Ayakashi's hopes of it evaporating and going away.
- It really means no harm. It knows Ayakashi can see it but isn't sure why he behaves the way he does or refuses to acknowledge its presence and existence.
- Often it will gently knock things over, like paper cups and pens or trash or itself, to try to get him to notice and turn around. So far it has just made him tense and work even harder. Lemonster is bewildered but will not give up on trying!
