Buttercup is the youngest merm in the Mushroom Trio. She is very energetic and stubborn compared to her mushroom brothers. (Note; they're actually not related to her). For now, her wings are kept loosely tied to her back to prevent her from getting hurt. She is completely fine with this though. She often has flying lessons with Haruko and Jagger, the only two other merms with wings. Along with her close bond with her mushroom brothers, she also has a close bond to a particular chonky merm named Rose. Rose acts like a father figure to her and her brothers, mainly her though, often smothering her with love and protecting her.
