A halfling warlord that worked for a mercenary group called the Lupia. They started the journey with the dream of becoming a knight and finding their long lost mother, but their journey has since hardened them.

Weaknesses: Kiko will be the first person to compare themselves negatively to others. Because of their chivalric nature, they can sometimes be naive and give questionable people the benefit of the doubt. They have somewhat poor eyesight. Their sin is Envy.

Story Thus Far:

Kiko Basilway was born to Aldo Basilway and Laurelle Largecry in a halfling farming village. Just days after she was born, Kiko's mother mysteriously disappeared. With her father Aldo being weak of will and unsure of whether or not he was fit to be a father, he passed his child on to his brother, Tibo. Tibo was a stern halfling, fitting for the general of the royal guard. Growing up surrounded by halfling and dwarven knights, Kiko soon aspired to be one as well. They squired for quite some time and learned how to fight with two-handed weapons. While growing up they would occasionally visit their father, but he was now secluded to his house as a botany professor.

Kiko had wondered for years what had happened to their mother. Plus, they wanted to put their skills to the test out on the road to see if they could become a bonafide knight. After all, their mother was a local hero, so wouldn't it make sense?

Kiko signed up for The Lupia, a national mercenary group, and was assigned with their teammates - Aarikon Garodya the dragonborn sorceror, and Kashe Muhnie the tiefling rogue. The three were tasked with traversing the other side of the country, as one of the Lupia's associates had disappeared, and with a debt owed. They were to investigate what happened.

On the way, the three stopped by a house in a rural area that housed an elf family named the Lyllethorns. There, Kiko met one of the sons - a half-elf named Piersym. He was a pacifistic druid that had an allergy to most vegetables. Kiko became infatuated with him almost immediately. However, they had to part ways the day after and they had occassionally written to each other.

As the party started discovering the uprising of a cult for a dead god, Kiko started having frequent nightmares. With stress building over time, Kiko stopped having the time to write to Piersym.

Late in the journey, the party investigated a cultist's lair. A mage threw a catalyst to attack Kiko - it could have made them stick, but instead their body reacted by growing a lion's tail.

There, for the first time in nearly 20 years, Kiko encountered their mother. Under the mind control of the cult, Laurelle Largecry attacked her own child. Were it not for Kashe's quick thinking, they wouldn't be able to undo the mind control magic that was cast on her. Kiko and Laurelle had a talk for the first time. Laurelle assured it would be alright, and even apologized for her absence and submission to the cult by giving Kiko her own famous sword, Kreimhild. Then, Laurelle took her leave. And Kiko was speechless. They had finally found their mother. And they weren't satisfied with what they saw.

Their journey ended and eventually the three were victorious. The nation was safe for now. Kiko still works for the Lupia, however has given up on their dream to become a knight. Now? They're just a halfling with a sword.

===============================

In Blue Sea Moon, Kiko was feeling lost in their way of life. Wanting to do a heel-turn on their previous spurred beliefs, they made an oath to the Paladins of Watchers, becoming a masked entity known as Ark to quietly be an observer doing good without seeking the valor their mother did. After their involvement with the Blue Sea Moon mystery, they found that this path wasn't right for them and unswore their oath, now taking time to genuinely reflect on their balance of heroism and seriousness. Ready to take this on, they started to look to their party member, Agnes, with a bit more of a glint in his eyes.
