Charlotte is the daughter of the villian Carnage /Kletus Kasady and lover Shriek. she was born with Carnages "offspring" in her arm. Shriek had Charlotte when she was in Ravecroft. Charlotte was given a name and her mothers surname before being taken from her mother and being put in a foster home. Charlotte was an odd girl from the start with her symbiote who liked to referred simply as Empath. Empath is a part of Charlotte perfering to reside in her arm. Empath unlike her other brethen is more gentle and kind and is has more of a coexistence with Charlotte. Empath appears as a light purple symbiote,she's sassy and blunt.
