Lanu

Lanu is one of many vessels born and discarded by The Pale King in his search for a perfect vessel for the infection and also one of who knows how many that have managed to crawl their way out of the abyss. Like the rest of them, they too wandered aimlessly through the kingdom's various nooks and crannies until they stumbled upon a great underground grove full of shimmering and glowing lifeblood. Here, head weary from travel, they would find a peculiar nail rested atop a slab of overgrown stone...

Lanu, like all vessels, naturally has a stronger attunement to soul than most bugs. They're able to rapidly heal their wounds using soul and they have the unique ability to gather soul into their upper body to be released with the butt of their head, making the blow that much more devastating. They only resort to that if the situation appears dire, though, as using it too carelessly could crack their shell.
One of Lanu's strongest tools is their uniquely crafted nail, infused with lifeblood coursing through it. Not only can this blade be used to heal themselves, but it can also be used to heal others, making Lanu the almost perfect healer.
