Personality
If Kaletaka were to tell random strangers that she was from the Abyss, not many would believe it to be the truth. They would laugh and tell her, “Why, but you have a Vision! You’re a human! Surely it can’t be true. It’s impossible!”
—In-game character attributes and profile page text.
Kaletaka is described as someone who takes great care in her responsibilities. She’s respected greatly by the people of Liyue, just as she was within the Abyss Order. Despite being quite organized and required to give orders to soldiers, she’s also occasionally childish and immature. However, despite so, she’s endowed with a vast amount of knowledge and experience.
Appearance
Kaletaka uses the medium female model. She has graying black hair, rich skin, and mauve taupe eyes.
Official Introduction
She’s extremely diligent, always putting in the effort to keep the Millelith busy and Treasure Hoarders running. Why don’t you go introduce yourself to her?
— Zhongli
Character Stories
Character Details
Sometimes, the people of Liyue may sense a strong energy traveling through the streets of their villages. The parents always tell their children it’s the Adepti protecting their homes and families. Although she isn’t an Adeptus, Kaletaka will travel through villages, because she wants to make sure the nation is safe from monsters, especially from those like her.
Character Story 1
Friendship Lv. 2
Kaletaka is skilled in many fields, mainly the translation of ancient texts and alchemy. She studied to become an alchemist and archaeologist in the Fallen Nation, although her mother arranged for her to become a royal guard. She was skilled in enchanting objects. Her enchantments were known to strengthen artifacts, weapons, and the nation’s field tillers. She doesn’t remember much of what happened during the Cataclysm as she had blacked out at some point, and she prefers to keep it that way.
Character Story 2
Friendship Lv. 3
It wouldn’t all be for naught. Kaletaka -along with a few others from the Abyss Order- were given the task with spying on the Fatui from Snezhnaya. She disguised herself as a human and made her way towards the nation, taking the alias, Corbeau. It was there that she had joined the Fatui to get more valuable information, ready to finish her mission. She spent too many months training and suffering in the harsh climate, but she knew it wouldn’t be for nothing. After a few incidents she’d rather not speak about, she stowed away on one of the ships.
Character Story 3
Friendship Lv. 4
Kaletaka ended up in Liyue Harbor, where she shortly met a young and bubbly fishmonger apprentice named Percival. Kaletaka sensed Percival was a Fatuus the moment she saw him, noticing his slightly visible insignia tucked away in his vest. He showed her around, telling her about the culture and history of the Liyue that he had learned through books and historians. She did her best to hide her identity, for Percival’s sake. Unfortunately, Percival eventually found out about her secret identity when the two were surrounded by mitachurls after wandering a bit far from the Harbor. He drew his sword and demanded that she leave the Harbor at once, or he would strike her. Kaletaka wouldn’t listen; she didn’t want to leave, nor did she want to hurt anybody.
Character Story 4
Friendship Lv. 5
She fled the Harbor for a short while, returning after a situation with a former colleague. However, Kaletaka still had to prove to everyone that she was trustworthy, and she did so by eventually joining the Millelith to protect the nation.
Character Story 5
Friendship Lv. 6
After a long while, Kaletaka made the decision to find a place the Abyss Order wouldn’t think to look, to keep Percival and everybody safe. She found a hidden cave outside of Liyue Harbor, and her body ended up shutting down and slipping into a coma. She didn’t have the energy to see or speak with anyone, not even to move, but she could sense if someone was there. New recruits for the Millelith were rumored to be required to visit her for good luck in their training. Kaletaka’s body and Vision started to absorb the elemental energy in the cave, resulting in multiple unexplained storms nearly forming over Mt. Tianheng for a few years.
Vision
Friendship Lv. 6 • Vision
Shortly after settling down in Liyue and joining the Millelith, Kaletaka was tasked with being sent into the Chasm with a small group of soldiers. From what she heard in reports, more monsters were showing up in the mines, and the Qixing decided it would also be an opportunity for Kaeletaka to prove herself.
As the group made their way into the mines, groups of Hilichurls and Abyss creatures were scattered in the area. The group was spotted immediately, and although they could take on and defeat the Hilichurls, the Abyss creatures were too strong for the majority of them.
Kaletaka transformed to fend the monsters off, but at the cost of her energy and consciousness. When the battle -which seemed like hours- was finally over, she collapsed.
When she awoke, the remaining soldiers were carrying her back to Bubu Pharmacy for medical examination. She had noticed the sparkling gem in her palms, and all she could do was question its existence. Why should she deserve to receive such a thing, after so long of being seen as nothing but a sinner from a disdainful civilization? Were the Gods actually aware of her identity? Did her peers really have to lose their lives? At what point during the battle did it appear?
Whatever the reasoning was, she accepted the Vision as a memory for the fellow soldiers she lost in that battle, even if she didn’t necessarily need the gem.

Character Voice-Overs

Baizhu | I only know her because she lands herself in Bubu Pharmacy quite often for not listening to my advice. Don’t eat things you’re not supposed to, it’s not that hard to understand. Aside from my advice going in one ear and out the other.. I’m thankful she’s doing her best to protect Liyue, but she also needs to learn to protect her health as well. |
Chongyun | I don’t trust her. Does anybody not see that she’s still a monster? It’s not natural for a demon from the Abyss to want to live amongst mortals.. right? Whatever, just be careful around her. |
Ganyu | Y-you mean the Kaletaka? I’ve only met her a few times, but she seems super nice! I usually see her patrolling the docks, or occasionally I’ll catch her visiting the Adepti. She seems to get along well with everyone, so maybe I’ll introduce myself the right way someday. |
Zhongli | I’ve been keeping an eye on her ever since she first arrived here from Snezhnaya, but we actually met long before that. Hmm, think of our relationship as.. a mutual bond between immortals. We both understand the pains and joys of living an immortal lifestyle, nothing more. |

Story
Title and Requirements | Details |
Hello | Kaletaka, General of the Millelith at your service! If there’s something you need, just come to me and let me know. I’ll get it done right away. |
Chat: Sumeru | I guess some people have heard about me in other nations.. occasionally we’ll find a few Sumeru researchers traveling to the Harbor. Most of the time they ask me about certain things, such as how I managed to adapt to a- um.. sort of mortal life, but other times.. they can be quite demanding and aggressive. |
Chat: Abyss Lector | Oh, don’t think about that too hard. |
Chat: Babysitting | I don’t mind hanging around kids too often. I believe it’s best to let your inner child out sometimes. The more you try to juggle life’s struggles without finding at least a little bit of fun to have, the more exhausted and irritable you become. |
When It Rains | When I was young I never really got to experience weather like the surface has. |
About Kaletaka | Some of the others in the Abyss Order have told me I’m related to the Khaenri’ahn royal family… but I’m not sure how true that is. I never got the chance to ask my mother about it, and I doubt she would’ve told me. |
About Us: Khaenri’ah | At the time I was supposed to train to become a royal soldier, but I chose to become an alchemist instead. It’s sort of ironic, heh.. considering I’m working with soldiers now. |
About Us: Millelith
Friendship Lv. 6 |
I’ll spare you the tiresome story of how I actually joined the Millelith. It’s an honor to protect Liyue, and honestly? Even if it means sacrificing my life to protect the nation, I’d definitely do so. |
About the Vision
Friendship Lv. 4 |
This little trinket? Honestly, I don't think I really deserve it. I mean, it’s not like I really ever needed one anyway. I don’t use it much, actually.. |
Something to Share | Hilichurls aren’t usually aggressive, unless they feel provoked. Their language can be difficult for mortals to understand, but it is possible to communicate with them. Some hilichurls also seem to be able to recognize hand signals.. oh? Sorry! I tend to ramble about certain topics.. |
Interesting Things | If you ever find any old scrolls or books, I wouldn’t mind translating them for you! I spent most of my time translating old literature for the Fatui and the Abyss Order, so I’m quite experienced. Although… some old scrolls tend to be sappy romantic letters, which can be quite disappointing. |
About Percival
Friendship Lv. 4 |
He’s compassionate and always does his best to help those in need. If it wasn’t for him, I probably wouldn’t have stayed in the Harbor, or the Fatui might’ve already taken me back to Snezhnaya. Regardless, he’s super sweet. Why are you looking at me like that? |
About Xiangling
Friendship Lv. 4 |
I don’t really need to eat, but when I do on extremely special occasions, she never fails to disappoint. The dishes she has made for me before were always top tier. |
About Ganyu: Topic
Friendship Lv. 4 |
Why- why do you ask? Heh, she’s.. um, super sweet! She’s always super busy, so I never actually get to talk to her as much as I’d like.. |
About Zhongli: Topic
Friendship Lv. 4 |
We occasionally travel together to visit the Adepti, or we’ll meet to have a cup of wine. He’s a lot kinder than what he lets on, though. If you try hard enough, you may be able to get him to crack a smile or a little laugh.. |
Birthday | I don’t remember the last time I actually celebrated somebody’s birthday. But enough about that, why don’t we go and visit the Adepti to celebrate? |

Is this too much for you?

I suppose we can do this the hard way.
Ally at Low HP | Get behind me! |
Opening Treasure Chest | Anything ancient in here? |
Oh, shiny! | |
I don’t need any of these, so why don’t you take it instead?
Fallen | I.. broke.. my promise.. |
Joining Party | I won’t let any harm come our way. |
Lead the way! | |
I suppose I can take a break for a little while. |

(When the player is nearby)
Hello there.
Is everything alright?
Dialogue
Kaletaka: Hello there, kiddo.
Kaletaka: Is there anything you need my help with?
How do you like it here?
Kaletaka: I like it! It’s not too big, not too small.. it’s perfect.
Kaletaka: I definitely prefer this place over the house Percival and I share. It doesn’t smell like fish or salt constantly.
I’m glad you like it here.
Kaletaka: Of course!
Kaletaka: I’m really looking forward to what you may do with the place in the future.
(Unlocks at Friendship Level 7)
Would you like to chat?
Kaletaka: Hm? Oh, of course!
Kaletaka: We can chat about anything you’d like.
Anything at all?
Kaletaka: Well, yeah. I never really talked that much before leaving the Abyss Order.
Kaletaka: After settling down in Liyue I started to open up more, and it’s all thanks to Zhongli.
Do you two talk much?
Kaletaka: Well.. he certainly doesn’t. But his actions sure do speak louder than his words.
Kaletaka: We mostly spend our time reminiscing about past experiences over a cup of tea, or playing a game of chess.
Chess..
Kaletaka: Heh, yeah. Chess is actually quite fun.
Kaletaka: I can never seem to beat him, though..
(Unlocks at Friendship Level 4)
What would you like to do?
Kaletaka: Hmm.. do you have any books here at all?
Kaletaka: I.. just have always really loved reading. There’s just something about it that makes it special.
What kind of books?
Kaletaka: I’ve always enjoyed historical and archaeological texts. I always loved learning about it, even if it’s not related to Khaenri’ah.
Kaletaka: But why don’t you surprise me, (Traveler)?
What about fiction?
Kaletaka: You mean, like fictional stories about princes and knights? I don’t see why not.
Kaletaka: But then again.. why would those be considered fiction? Princes and knights have always existed.. unless they’re referring to the identities and situations with the novels..
Kaletaka: Ah, forgive me! I’m rambling again.
(Between 6:00 and 19:00)
Good Morning, Kaletaka.
Kaletaka: Morning, kiddo.
Kaletaka: It’s the perfect weather to spend some time outside and read books.
(Between 19:00 and 6:00)
Good night, Kaletaka.
Kaletaka: I don’t really have to sleep like mortals do.
Kaletaka: But you need the rest, though. If you need anything during the night, don’t be afraid to ask.
Special Dialogue
When a character is invited to or invites themselves to their favorite set for the first time, the character will provide a reward. They will provide a reward for each of their favorite sets.
Inviting them to the furnishing set again will replay the dialogue, but no further reward will be given.
Feiyun Study Room
Kaletaka: I could definitely use a lot of these books to my advantage. Maybe even all of them.
Kaletaka: Heh.. don’t worry about me. I’m a fast reader. I’ve been studying textbooks for decades.
Kaletaka: If you want.. maybe we could read a few books together? Eh.. on second thought, I tend to read a little too fast..
Secret Research Lab
Kaletaka: Oh my… it- it’s perfect! It has absolutely everything I could ever wish for.
Kaletaka: Oh, but I’m not sure if I should.. um, would it be safe for me to?
Kaletaka: Thank you, (Traveler), but I think it would be best if I just admired it from afar.
