Jake is a thin man from Canada who works in forensics. He had no prior knowledge of cars before arriving in Socrora. He is an introverted person. He became friends with Shayn and Khal, and the three of them started to exchange books with one another, forming a close friendship.

Summary
Jake Smith worked in the forensics division back in Canada before Socrora's human leaders asked other countries to help. Canada stepped up and sent one forensic detective to Socrora to aid in the solving of a crime. Jake arrived knowing very little about the country other than he was meeting two officers who would take him to the police station in Socrora.
Upon arriving, he had a less than friendly greeting with one of the cops that he was meeting, due to the two of them scaring each other. The other officer had to intervene and the trio left the airport to go to the crime scene, giving Jake the information he needed to help with the case. Jake was then dragged through the entire case beside Ahlex and Natalie, the two officers that greeted him at the airport

Trivia
• Jake enjoys listening to all types of music, which his friends back in Canada often teased him about
• Jake originally wanted to become a police officer, but found that he couldn't take the pressure of trying to help people calm down when they are in crisis
• Jake enjoys reading books about being a cop, often imagining himself in the cops shoes as he reads
