Kittypet life had always been such a challenge - her housefolk were always so behind with meal times, there was a schedule they should be keeping to! Her cushiony bed was never quite right, those awful dogs next door were always yipping during her naps, and the temperature in their home was always a bit too cold, or slightly too hot. Not to mention her little sister's birth taking away all of her housefolk's attention. But all of that, all of those grating little things that made her want to scratch up the couch - she would give anything to go back to that life. Hunting was a pain, trying to get any sort of comfortable nest in the snow was a chore, and getting anybody's attention fixed exclusively on her was nearly impossible. There were many Twolegs living nearby, of course - but none of them were yet to meet her standards.
