It's not unusual for members of the more authoritative societies in known space to have the more libertine among them leave to experience life on their own terms. It's rarer however for one of these to come from a military background. After tiring of her overly structured life, Major Sonia Kardolis took all she could, defected from her position in the Selakii Military and began selling arms to those who would have them. It wasn't long before her activities caught the attention of a one Sunny Vega, a representative from the Crimson Scourge Pirates, who proceeded to offer the former Major a job working for the feared organization. Having now married another member of the group, she hasn't regretted saying yes.
