PERSONALITY
Friendly and exuberant, Kino's cheerful and sunny demeanour are as real as the air of distance he keeps between himself and others. A complicated sort, he does not lie for he lacks the understanding of those in bad faith, and yet you never seem to know him either. He treats everyone as a potential friend unless you make yourself a significant threat. That said, it never gets much deeper with Kino's connections to others other than just a friend, due to his issues with considering himself as someone capable of more than that.
Protective and self sacrificing, he assumes this role quickly for anyone that comes his way due to his experience facing threats in the swamps. While he may struggle to feel a true connection to others, he does desire to see them happy and thriving ; this shows in many different ways, as he tends to be flexible and adaptive for whatever gets people to smile, even to the point of being the butt of a joke. That said, he is a stubborn individual even moreso than he is adaptive, especially when it comes to his ideals and the idea of a threat bringing harm to those he believes he should care about.
BIOGRAPHY
- Born and abandoned in the swamps of eyre , enmir.
- Was essentially raised by the wild creatures of Enmir, living a more wild life and being exposed to the fae.
- Was found by a member of [x] guild, who then stayed in Enmir to help teach Kino about the world outside ( Age ?? ).
- Eventually, their job long since completed, the guild member brought Kino to the nearest city and left him to live his own life. ( Age ?? )
- Kino travels Eyre to experience all the things he never could whilst in the wild swamps of Enmir.

- Kino travels to Zevija and meets Ilia. The two enter a misunderstanding where Ilia believes they are dating and Kino is oblivious.
- Kino meets Basil, and it is revealed they are brothers. Kino settles down in Strynhalde to try to form a connection with his brother. ( Age ?? )
- Gets into a confrontation with Yoko, putting a strain on his relationship with Basil as he fails to understand the others' love for an obvious threat ( Age ?? ).
- Struggling to feel the way he feels he should, he leaves Strynhalde and travels to Ahza, there he meets Chi. ( Age ?? )
- He falls in love, although he doesnt quite realize it himself. Settles in Ahza to ask Chi about her life and about the gods.
- Befriends the goddess herself, Locria.

- One day, Locria spills the reasoning for Chi's dulled heart, and how one could possibly return it to before.
- Kino travels with Tanabata to recover the shards of Chi's heart.

DESIGN
- His eyes always appear closed, if ever seen at all. Despite this ( and the bangs over his face ), he can see fine.
- The inside of his ears are very plush to the touch.
- His ear fluff is usually messy and not uniform, with tangles of hair spilling forth from it.
- Similarly, it is normal for his tail to have flora and other tidbits of nature sticking within it.

- Kino's voice actor is first last, sampled here.
- Kino is ambidextrous, though he doesn't think its anything special.

Little critters love to hide within his tail and use it to rest or take shelter. He is used to this and doesn't mind.
- Sometimes the critters leave little treasures as thanks, and while he doesn't quite know what to do with the various items they give him he tries to keep them safe.
- He's started learning how to take care of flowers and various cleaning skills to help out around the shrine, in hopes of making Chi's day less strenous. Considering he never had much knowledge in these skills prior, it is a process.
RELATIONS
ex sister-in-law , dangerous entity
Upon realizing Yoko's desire to cause endless pain for his brother, Kino saw the other as nothing more than a threat that needed to be neutralized ; And yet, all this did was cause the friction she so desired between Kino and Basil. While he now understands Basil's side, to see Yoko happy with another fills him with rage.

While Haiti treats him more as a punching bag with pranks than a friend, Kino is oblivious to that fact and treats her as he would anyone else. Perhaps his cheerful demeanour despite the pranks she pulls only encourages her to prank him more.

The brother he never knew he had, he can see Basil's love for him clear as day. And while he wishes to connect just as strongly, he is held back by his sense of otherness. Friction rises higher as Basil's self-sacrificing nature conflicts with Kino's desire to protect the other, and it isn't until Kino falls for Chino that he returns to reconcile and finally connect to his brother like the matching puzzle pieces they are.

A strange individual, one who's smile has faded and who's eyes are dulled. Kino feels a pull to her, his eyes following her and becoming entranced. He wishes to hear her voice, to learn more about her. He doesn't need much else other than to stay by her side, with her permission. He just wants to bring her peace and maybe, someday, he will see her smile.

Chi's goddess, and one that he should technically be worshipping. However he can't quite understand the uptight relations the others of the shrine hold with Locria. The two get along well, Kino keeping an upbeat energy to brighten Locria's boring days. He enjoys bringing her trinkets as gifts, because she doesn't get out often.

A kind soul, and one Kino unintentionally hurts. His inability to connect deeper than a friend leads to a misunderstanding where Ilia believes the two are in a relationship. Kino remains oblivious, but no matter what he views her as a friend that he cares about.
