a declining spark of her former self , dedicated entirely to her duties as a disciple in order to remain close to her childhood love , chi has become rather reserved and resolute in her training. personal beliefs and feelings must be disregarded entirely in order to serve a higher purpose. . . only that she finds it rather impossible to stop her mind from wandering to geki. feeling hopeless , and disgusted with her own selfish sin , the girl prays to the spirits above to remove this desire that eats away at her heart so that she may finally be of use to the gods above.
unfortunately , you must be careful for what you wish for. with the heart gone , there is not much left other than a former lover with vacant eyes.
she carries on in this world with no ''selfish'' desires that would make her earthly , electing to serve higher deities in hopes of being of use. her own self importance is pushed to the side while she gives everything in her power to continue the upkeep of the sacred shrines and to bring great praise and attention to those above. chi often overlooks her relationships with fellow maidens as she sees no true benefit from sharing heart. . . the heart she no longer has. rather recluse , this rose has withered to the harsher poison formerly known as love , and instead seeks to remain alone until her day has finally come.
