A ROBOT FROM SPACE---
GiGi* is an android from a planet outside of our solar system. she's a scout/explorer sent by her government to analyze, map, document and collect plants/animals from other planets, moons, and solar systems (like lewis and clark!)
eventually, many decades into her tenure, she finally takes a work vacation, and comes to earth to explore! anyone in her field has great admiration and respect for earth, as it's home to intelligence and technology closest to their's, but most androids don't have the chance to visit.
her helmet offers her extra tools and skills for analysis and documentation, and she will often wear it for protection, too
GiGi is outwardly calm, monotone and mysterious. she's more of an observer than anything else, even though the stuff she does say tends to be outlandish. she's a bit of a manic pixie girl type.
she's alot friendlier with her helmet on, as it alters her personality to be more curious and adventurous.
