Personality

   Adva tends to be a bit reclusive by nature. She takes her job as Angel very seriously and tries to interfere with humans and their world as little as possible. She simply does what is required of her by her Goddess. When confronted by others she can be surprisingly tempermental. Most people look at her an think she'll be weak or soft-hearted, but her years of service have hardened her to her role quite well. She is quick to dule out punishments deemed by her Goddess and is quick to grant rewards as well. All of her actions are taken in the name of Ganga and to others it might seem like she had little free will of her own. 

Biography

   Adva is in many ways a created being, born by her Goddess's divine power and desire for someone to dull out her rewards and punishments. Adva has spent hundreds of years on the Earth, disguised in various forms and walking different Rivers. In her long life she has seen many nations built and also fall into ruin. Only once did she ever allow herself to love a human and after his life was up she morned for a long time. She only recovered with the help of her Goddess and as such has sealed her heart to the thought of loving again. 

Abilities

   Adva has the ability to call forth and manipulate water. She is an Angel under the domain of a River Goddess and as such her abilties relate to the Goddess's domain. She can not call forth large amounts of water when there is little around, but she can manipulate large bodies of water quite easily, even more so when the source is a River (not a lake/ocean/etc). She had the ability to purify water as well as certain diseases that can be carried in the blood. In rare cases the Goddess Ganga can grant Adva the ability to turn a mortal being into that of an immortal, this only happens in rare and extreme cases. In her hundreds of years of service, Adva has only been given the ability to grant immortality twice. 

   Adva has the ability to appear completely human, an angel of sorts, or like that of a white heron. She'll often disguise her form as a heron and spend hours just floating on the River, observing what needs to be observed. Should she have reason to interact with a human, she often takes on the form of a young girl, though she can technically appear any age.
