Zi Hou is a mischevous trickster, always pulling pranks on the townspeople although most are harmless, she tends to sometimes go a bit to far. She's known to be the wittiest person in the whole land, she's naturally smart and quick on her feet and even more so with the help of her kung fu training. her father was one of the most respected warriors as well as her grandfather and so on.
she loves kung fu with a passion and has trained ever since she was young, although she has never even encountered a battle once, she's still waiting for the day she can finally put all her training to use
J in Zi Hou, the proud daughter of the family Jin, her family is known for her ancestral connection to martial arts, from her father, to her grandfather, and so on.
Zi Hou had always been much closer to her father, always paying him visits when he taught and his students kung fu, she'd often mimic their actions in her room based on what she could remember
of course, her Mother always taught her the traditions for women in the family, unaware of the passion Zi Hou had for martial arts, fearing she'd let not only her parents, but her entire family down, so she kept quiet about it, never once speaking about it at all.
She continued this trend of paying visits to her father and practicing in secret for about a few years while also struggling with making sure she knew everything her mother teachers her, balancing both at the same time for almost at least 5 years.
it was going smoothly for her until one night, while her family was asleep, she decided to sneak out and find her father's spear to try and see if she could weild it at leaast a bit like him. She thought she had gotten away with it but was almost immediately proven wrong when her father found her playing with it. fearing that she was in trouble, she began to make excuses, saying that she found it lying around and stuff though of course, her father didnt take any of it, but instead of getting mad, he instead appreciated her little attempt at using his weapon
the next day, her father talked with both her mother and grandparents, informing them about Zi Hou's little secret, wondering what to do about it. Luckily for her, her father managed to convince them to let Zi Hou attend his classes as long as she also continued to take her mother's own classes, balancing them so that she'd be with er mother every 3 days and her mother every 2 days, with the weekend to spend time with both of them casually
as an adult, Zi Hou took on her father's role and taught Kung Fu as one of the masters in her family bloodline, combining elegance and grace to strength and precision. And it turns out, both parts help her actually be one of the most powerful masters from her family. She's one of, if not the most precise and balanced master amongst all known kung fu masters
- like any monkey, Zi Hou loves eating bananas
- Zi Hou acts very mature and professional at first but then eventually slips back into her naturally playful demeanor
- Zi Hou had always been tricky and sly, which is how she got away with secretly getting into her father's classes
- She has a younger sister named Mei Lee
- her father often told her about the legendary Monkey King as a child
- she was... bad back when she started legitimately attending her father's classes
