Chief demon of Hell, Lucifer's assistant and lover.
Mephisto was given new life by Lucifer and works alongside him in his journey to free humanity from God and Heavens' reign. Mephisto is able to travel to Earth. He goes here to lead humans to a free afterlife in Hell, rather than Heaven (which is a worse alternative here.) Mephisto also searches for men to corrupt himself, whether through mental torment or temptation, though this is not his given instructions, Mephisto just has a sadistic nature. Mephisto will either be summoned, or go seek out people on Earth on his own.
Mephisto's head is made of a thick smoke/ash from Abaddon and is attached to a decapitated body of a demon. He can detach his head from this body, and use it to possess others by either inserting himself through another individual's mouth (the possessed would still be able to see and hear whatever Mephisto does through their body;) or by completely taking over their body by decapitating another individual and attaching himself to it. If he detaches his head from his body, his body just falls over as a headless corpse.
Mephisto despises the Kingdom of Heaven and angels, and is ruthless in his torment of them (despite his appearance he is very strong... mad mans strength..)
He can be a great friend to those he is close to (Lucifer, Jackie, etc..) without even realizing it. This is the only personal conflict he has with himself.
ABADDON & MEPHISTO ORIGINS
ABADDON (the bottomless pit, the empty, limbo, etc etc.)
Abaddon is the darkest pit below Hell. Demons from Hell can not go to Abaddon after being damned to Hell, but the creatures from Abaddon have incredible power that allows them to shift between different realms (Heaven, Earth, Hell, probably etc…)
It is completely grayscale, dark and surrounded by rock and fire. In Hell, you have a chance to survive. in Abaddon, there is no life and no chance of survival.
Abaddon is where angel's and demon's souls go when they die to rest for all eternity.
The beings in Abaddon created themselves from the Flames of Abaddon and by devouring the souls of the angels who had died, the souls are what gives them strength and life. They are sadistic monsters, who only know to conquer and devour others.
Due to the beings from Abaddon not knowing of other realms, they slowly begin to die off, as there are not enough souls to feed all of them and keep their strength. Once they’ve run out, they simply fade into ash.
MEPHISTO
Originally a full being of Abaddon made entirely from smoke (this is what i imagine his true peak form being made of.) He had made a name for himself from being sadistic to his brothers and devouring many souls, he ended up surviving longer than others, but eventually, like most of the other beings, died off and faded to ash. He is considered to be the King of Abaddon.
But his spirit was much stronger than others and never ‘died’ from fading. He was able to drift his remains across Abaddon, and eventually ended near a cave entrance around Hell, in hopes that someone, someday, would give him the ability to live again.
Lucifer, who had knowledge of beings in Abaddon, found the ash, and began experimenting to bring it back to life.
His new body, made from a decapitated body with his ash inserted through the opening of the neck, ignited in a pool of fire, and fed souls, was able to survive much longer and much easier, since there was not a full form to maintain.
