A royal advisor who moved from the forest to serve the queen he loved. After her death he became the unofficial royal babysitter to the prince. Haughty, cowardly, and prideful to a fault, yet he cares for the prince... even if he won't admit it.
After the queen’s death and the king’s sudden change, most of the palace staff has quit. Beau has taken on a lot more duties, and practically keeps the place running. However his loyalty doesn’t seem to be to the king, but to the queen’s memory… and maybe Ryland.
Unfun fact! His horn was broken off intentionally during an attack, after he made some bad PR moves in his grief following the queen's death and no longer had her protection. Luckily he was rescued before further harm.
Beau's love for the queen wasn't romantic. She was an ethereal being with a strong connection to 'nature' creatures like satyrs, and became a close friend of his.
Now the question is, is Beau’s upper half covered in fur or just skin? And the cool thing about my cartoony art style is that I don’t have to answer that. He has characteristics of both a goat and a deer.
