A strong and chivalrous Royal Knight, but also a sweet and kindhearted Ice Dragon.
Despite his ferociousness on the battlefield, Orpheus is a gentle and quiet person by nature. He wears his heart on his sleeve and has a hard time saying no to others. He's a hopeless romantic who dreams of love, but is also too shy to ever confess so he often suffers with unrequited love. Orpheus has a bit of a inferiority complex and tends to be very self-deprecating.

- the giant plant wrappes around him is a summoned familiar; its name is Sarra and it can talk (it's quite sassy and snappy)
- ages slowly since he is a dragon; about 240 years old (about 24 human years)

story
past
Orpheus is the eldest son of the Chieftain of the Ice Dragon clan. He's never really felt as if he was the right choice as the heir of the position. Since the clan succession is not based on birthright, he decided that he would find his place in the world outside of the clan. Orpheus travelled away, eventually finding his way to the Kingdom. Their values aligned with his, and he decided to join the royal knights.
presentDespite finding his calling, Orpheus is fairly isolated from the others. Many of the other knights are rather wary of his species as a dragon, he maintains a distance from others in order to not make them uncomfortable. Although, one certain warm-hearted knight has set him as his target for his teasing.
futureOrpheus had planned to stay as a royal knight for the time being, but was hit with a sudden proposal. Kreon had been summoned back to his country to take the throne and decided that he couldn't stand to leave Orpheus behind. He proposed for Orpheus to marry him and come back to his country with him. Orpheus, having finally found a purpose to his life, agreed and married Kreon. The pair often go to visit the ice dragon clan, forging a strong bond between the two countries.

Kreon is Orpheus's love interest, eventual lover, and eventual husband. He's been in love with Kreon since he joined the platoon and has never been subtle about his affections (despite what he may believe). He later marries Kreon and becomes Grand Consort of Kreon's duchy.
