Lore/About:

Thyme lives in a village somewhere off-radar where they are worshipped as the "Giude for the souls". Basically, the village belives when someone dies. They go up to space to become a star/planet where untimate goal is to grow big/capable enough to house life of their own. The soul can go there on its own but it is belived that with the help of Thyme, they can be guided and enter space quicker and more safeley as there are many dangers for the soul while traveling.

When placing the deceased person on the death altar, everyone chants and then bows and closes their eyes to give the deceased's soul and Thyme some peace alone. Then after a set amount of time, the people open their eyes and burn the body along with decorations and offering like flowers and food. The gift (explained bellow) recieved by Thyme is given to the family or (the next closes person) but if there is none, it is burned aswell for the dead to take with them (metaphorically).

Thyme resides in a altar in his totem form. Most has only seen Thyme in that form. Thyme likes to explore and be free though so they tend to wander around a bit and the poeple know their totem mysteriously disepears quite often. They just think that Thyme is out and giving blessings (which is kinda true). While most people havent seen Thymes original form. There are villagers on the verge of death and has somehow recovered against the odds that claims they have seen Thymes original form along with golden wings the day before they started to make a speedy recovery.

The villagers beleif has their truths and falses. Thyme doesnt get the soul to space. but they do pay their respects to the deceased on the altar and usually places a gift shuch as a pretty stone, some flowers or random stuff they found.

It has been pretty much confirmed that Thyme is a real totem Jellinegai and that has lead to many stealing attempts but the totem has always come back to the altar the very next day and has and will probably never, be successfully stolen against its will.
