Zephyr is a narcissist through and through. He's proud of the work he does, proud of his looks, and puts in the effort to live up to his high standards and maintenance. He acts for himself and by himself unless you're lucky enough to be idolized or respected by him. These qualities make it easy to see him as a brat if not for how capable he can be. On the fip side of his confidence is a web of insecurity fueled by mistreatment under the arcangel Michael and his eventual severance of service to him. In an environment he cannot control, he is forced to face his weakness, and that makes him unsure of himself at times. Beyond his flaws is an endless devotion to whomever he's bonded to.

Zephyr is a courier among a network of heavenly messengers that worked his way up to be the one and only runner of the arcangel Michael. It was a position he considered to be his endgame on the journey to a lavish life surrounded by things he loved, and beings worthy of his efforts. With a callous personality, and disinterest in making friends, he was left isolated from even those that acknowledged his work ethic. During one fateful work run to Infernus, he was attacked by demons and valuable information was leaked to the powers that be in hell. Michael was livid, and unforgiving for the first and only error the hound had ever made.Their partnership became strained, and in the end Zephyr lost the home he'd worked so hard for.

In the shock of it all, he started to visit the demon that let him go in the first place to pester him. Zephyr blamed him for his metaphorical fall from grace afterall. Eventually his bitterness tapered off and was replaced by the small comfort of a being he could be honest around that didn't have any expectations of him. These days he finds a home in him more than he does in Heaven, and will make any deal necessary to stay in his company.
