Delta

Solar powered space dragon drifting through the universe, exploring distant planets and moons. For a hobby, he builds simple houses and vehicles on the planets he discovers, using scrap he collects on Earth. He lacks a home base, calling empty space his home, but often comes down to Earth to spend time watching its life, along with wandering forests and mountains - he is especially fond of winter landscapes and nighttime flying over cities.

Personality

Delta is generally withdrawn and laid back. He is rarely agitated and nearly impossible to start arguments with or offend, keeping his cool and indifference, sometimes to the point of frustrating others, who sometimes wish for an emotional reaction or a stance being taken. If one doesn't find this all too bothersome, Delta is pleasant to be around. He's calm, logical and quite witty, and very open-minded in regards to other's viewpoints, as well as to new ideas and experiences. If he doesn't have anything worth saying, he keeps quiet. He comes forward when needed and is not averse to doing favours, and is highly uncomfortable around drama. While fairly adamant about remaining agreeable and friendly, he has a difficult time being serious and treating important things with gravity, instead preferring to joke around. He is also not one for discussions about emotions and feelings. He can access backrooms and semi-existent liminal spaces on the brink of reality, and wandering around them is one of his favourite things to do, next to flying through space and spending time in the little houses he builds on distant planets.

Origins

He materialised out of the accretion of space dust from the shockwaves of a supernova, with the help of fate and magic, and was stuck aimlessly floating in space until he gained control of his body - limbs and powers alike. He doesn't remember this event, similarly to how humans don't remember their births, but this doesn't bother him much - while endlessly curious to explore space and spacetime, he could care less about the secrets of individuals, including, or perhaps especially, himself. It takes him eons to dare to communicate with other species, such as inhabitants of Earth. While he can manage conversations and interactions now, it was nothing that came naturally to him, and he still isn't exactly too well-versed socially. Though still preferring the isolation and calm of desolate planets and empty space, he's learned to appreciate a good chat or a nice time with a friend. It also helped shape his personality - witty and open minded - and at times nonsensical and silly.

Annie

Annie is the first and oldest real friend of Delta's. They meet on Annie's home planet, a mining society controlled, exploited and oppressed by the more advanced civilisation on the other habitable planet orbiting the shared binary star system. Annie dreams of Earth life, fascinated by its culture and most of all the city pulse. It takes some experimentation, but Delta finds a way to take Annie to Earth, where he decides to settle. Despite having very little in common, they get along extraordinarily well, preferring to share long conversations about everything under the sun (and other stars ;) ).

Infra

Delta doesn't eat food and is instead powered by starlight. If he goes too long without exposure to starlight, his body resorts to using longer wavelengths to display his form. It causes a shift in appearance and personality, his body turning red and black and him becoming irritable and quite rude. He practically turns into a version that is so different from himself, calling himself Infra, that he could be seen as a completely separate personality, and Delta often excuses the way Infra acts, however not fully taking responsibility for what Infra's behaviour, and eventual trouble caused... Infra is not a fan of the long hair, so he takes the tie off and uses it to put his hair up into a ponytail.
