Cusp ♔

Cusp is best known for his collected emotions, smug attitude, scheming nature, and condescending sense of morality. Above all else, Cusp values having control of as much as he can at all times. This makes him rather domineering and stubborn. Despite this, Cusp values allies he deems worthy and uses actions and favors to try to express gratitude. Many would describe him as quite the gentleman, as well as one they trust to crack the whip and keep a crowd in line.

He is related to Quentzalli, presumably as cousins of some sort.

Blessing and a Curse

The eye-like markings on the back of Cusp’s hood aren’t really eyes, but they can sense movement. This allows him to be alerted to anything moving behind him, making it difficult for others to sneak up on him or try to hide from his gaze. Some claim they’ve seen the patterns on his hood move as if they were working eyes, but as they’re on the back of his hood, Cusp can’t verify if that's ever actually happened. Unfortunately, this trait has caused some negative impacts on his mental clarity and stability. Being able to see movement that would be out of view normally means being hyper aware of his surroundings to an often unhealthy degree. It isn’t uncommon for him to sense people behind him and turn to see people talking amongst themselves, concluding they must have been talking about him or plotting against him. He fears that people, including friends, are likely going to betray him or outcast him in some way.
