Janji Komachi

NEW OC I LOVE HER SO MUCH!! <3 keeping most of her backstory and personality the same; mostly just a new name because i have an oc named Kanji already lol oops. might change her zanpakuto tho

Janji means promise in Malay! (Janjan is also japanese for "clanging" or the "dingdong" of a bell)

Janji Komachi, Captain of squad 00 of the gotei 13

Was an average shinigami right out of the academy and became an unseated member of kenpachi's squad. Was assigned a mission she shouldn't have taken and was left with a cursed arm and no memory of the mission.
When she gets too angry the curse begins to spread - it also reacts negatively to those with strong reishi and starts to spread. It is unsure what will happen when it spreads all across her body. When she came back from the mission she was put on bedrest, and when she was released Central 46 called for her execution. Yamamoto opposed, saying they could use her and study her in case this ever happened to another shinigami. Janji is kinda weird ever since she came back from that mission - she doesn't sleep or eat as much, she doesn't seem to blink, she got incredibly strong and often doesn't know her own strength. No one knows the truth other than her squad and the captains.

After getting cursed, Janji went to Kurotsuchi and had him cut her up and inspect her just so she could understand. Mayuri performed surgeries on her and that resulted in all the scars on her body. Everyone kinda treats her like she is gonna go berserk at any moment even though the mark reacts to reishi rather than anger. This makes her mad so she typically doesn't interact with those outside of the captains and her squad.

Janji doesn't remember who put the curse on her so she asks the entity inside her zanpakuto.

Zanpakuto: Suzumebachi [スズメバチ] Hornet
Release Command: Sasu [刺す] Sting
Suzumebachi is a long thin katana, thinner and longer than most usual katanas. It is a dark, almost black metal with a bright yellow and black nodachi. The katana sheath is positioned on her lower back and is orange and purple with an intricate design across it. Wrapped around the top of the sheath is a small purple rope and hornet charm. She typically just carries her sword, but when she isn't she shrinks Suzumebachi down to a tiny sword charm keychain which she carries in her pocket.

Shikai Appearance: Suzumebachi transforms into a long thin sword with a large handle, the sword is curved slightly and rather light and weightless. The nodachi stays the same yellow and black color and the sword has the word Hornet etched into the blade in kanji.

Shikai Ability: Mure [群れ] Swarm
Suzumebachi is able to call upon a swarm of hornets and bees within a certain radius, controlling them and having them attack the opponent as a distraction and to catch them off guard. With this ability, depending on the number of hornets depends on how strong they are - the more there are the weaker they are, but the less there are the stronger they are.
MAYURISPLANATION: User can control a swarm of hornets and bees and make them do as the user pleases.

Shikai Ability: Senko [閃光] Flash
If Suzumebachi is used very few times in the battle, the sword keeps and build up a collection of reishi and makes the user faster. When used very few times, the user seems to move in a quick flash and cannot be seen by the naked eye.
MAYURISPLANATION: If the user of Suzumebachi is able to move in a flash, getting slower the more they use the sword.

Bankai: Hachisasare [ハチ刺され] Bee Sting
Bankai Appearance: A long, thin, black sword with three even holes near the hilt. The hilt is black with yellow and orange details on it. When entering this bankai state, there is an overwhelming sound of bees in the ears of those around. To everyone around it seems like this bankai is a simple sword like Ichigo's bankai, however it isn't normal at all.

Bankai Ability: Hachisasare [ハチ刺され] Bee Sting
Rini uses her bankai often, so often in fact that she can keep her bankai active for hours at a time. Her bankai ability is being able to summon Baba Yaga through a portal looking exactly like a portal to Hueco Mundo. This portal opens and Baba Yaga leans halfways out, roaring and sending out the many colonies of bugs which Rini has collected and studied. They attack the opponent and finally, if the opponent is worthy of being studied, Baba Yaga will take the subject back alive and Rini will dissect and study it with Baba.
