Summary

The Star Colonies blessed her with the powers to help everyone around her. She was revered as the best healer, not just in the her own Colony, but in all the colonies. The Star Colonies had plans for everyone to join them in the Hunting Grounds. But the Star Colonies had not said a word to Blueshade about Lakequill. When it came to her, they were silent as stars. She tried convincing everyone of the truth. That she was a fraud, who lied to them about the Star Colony blessing her with the power of leadership. That she was blessed with their gift of nine lives. Some believed her, and some didn't. But they all suffered for it. And Blueshade couldn't take it anymore.

Blueshade gathered her followers and promised them that the Star Colonies wanted to be reunited with their descendants. Their loved ones. To run and hunt with them for all eternity. All it would take is one moment of faith and they would all be together in a life without death. She distributed the berries. Said a prayer. They all took them. And one by one they fell in a bloody, foaming heap.

The rest of the Colony, still blinded by Lakequill's lies, apprehended Blueshade, and sentenced her to death. But she did not fear death, for she would be united with everyone in a few moments. And the rest of them would be doomed to walk the earth aimlessly as ghosts.

And when Blueshade woke up, she was in Darkhaven. Not the best of circumstances to be in. But she was still able to continue speaking to the living. And while Petalbreeze was a disappointment and Skyshine was a true loss. Many cats have forgotten who she was. And she would not fail again. She would reach the others, and she had all the time in the world to do it.
