Her entire life revolves around the care for others. When not working, she's looking for a husband. She's a traditionalist who wants 3 kids and a man to look out for her. As for her health, she'll eat just about anything and loves sweets far too much.

She maintains the ability and education of a physician that has treated adults and children in non-emergency situations. She is trained for the latter now.

Background/Story

Born in Japan, Ume was later raised with her older brother in the States in their teens. She was an excellent student throughout her life and always knew she wanted a job that helped people. Thanks to her parent's funding, she was able to aim for anything she wanted. Ume ended up becoming a Pediatric Physician, working in one of New York's finest children's hospitals. After some time observing the world from the news her brother brought her of advancing viruses, she thought it would be in the best interest of mankind if more doctors moved to aid in the war against genetic mutations. She was not familiar with the military-like procedures and fast-paced lifestyle that resided behind the BSAA's walls but her heart was open.

She was deployed as a base medic for Captain Redfield's unit, replacing the former one temporarily as he was on private leave. Ume has only been working for about a month but she feels happy in her situation and even has eyes for a man working within the BSAA's sister division, the DSO (where her brother works). She'll continue the work of keeping the men on the frontlines together while they all hold out for the future.

Kindness is obvious from her actions and she exudes positive energy. She wears her heart on her sleeve but seldomly is sad, finding reasons to be happy in the smallest moments; this usually involves helping others. She can be quite excitable over topics she particuliarly enjoys and is surprising promiscuous.
