Backstory: Darya is a young woman from the Alola region who begins her journey from Seafolk Village, where she was born. Her first Pokemon was a Buizel from her father, who eventually evolved into the Floatzel she has today. She prefers to travel to and from the islands by surfing on the Mantine, as she feels most comfortable near and in the water. 

Personality wise, Darya is energetic and playful and super friendly, as well as a bit naive. She's very stubborn though and will prefer to do things her own way.

She met her Keldeo while on a trip to Unova with her father, and the two became quick friends. By the end of the trip, Keldeo had been caught after a battle with Darya
